Our services for the manufacturing industry

As a partner to the roofing trade, we can handle the take-back of PVC roofing sheets on a nationwide scale – quickly, simply and economically. Depending on collection requirements, we can provide either Big-Bags with a capacity of 1 cubic metre or larger containers.

The material is typically collected within five days of your notification – and directly from your site. Our partner recycling facilities recover valuable resources from the PVC roofing sheets to make new products – such as plastic mats, for example.

Frequent questions of our customers

  • What is ROOFCOLLECT?

ROOFCOLLECT is the leading German recycling solution for end-of-life PVC roofing sheets. Under the aegis of ESWA, the European Single Ply Waterproofing Association, ROOFCOLLECT has developed into a solution for the whole of Europe. In many European countries, ESWA now offers innovative recycling schemes for PVC roofing sheets.

The Benelux countries, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Norway are just some of the countries that now support the ROOFCOLLECT system. The initiative is coordinated throughout Europe by ESWA, which is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium and represents the leading producers of thermoplastic roofing and waterproofing sheets in Europe.

  • What are Big-Bags?

Roofing sheets are collected in Big-Bags. These are plastic textile sacks that can hold about 300 to 400 square metres of old roofing sheets up to a maximum weight of approximately 1,000 kg.

  • How are old roofing sheets dismantled?

    Dismantling is a three-step process:

    1. Preparation and cleaning
    2. Measuring and pre-cutting
    3. Rolling up the sheets and dumping into Big-Bags or a skip

These are then collected by the recycling company.
