Interseroh wins 2020 Best Practice User Group Award with its "OneIT" digitalisation project

+++ Environmental services provider Interseroh has won the 2020 Best Practice User Group (BPUG) Award in the "Large Project" category, impressing the expert jury with its project management for the "OneIT” digitalisation project. +++

Launched in spring 2019, the project focused on implementing a modern, agile, flexible and scalable IT and telecommunications landscape for all Interseroh companies. „We are delighted to receive the 2020 BPUG Award," said Markus Müller-Drexel, Managing Director of INTERSEROH Dienstleistungs GmbH. “It took us just under a year and a half of hard work to achieve our goal of modernising and standardising our company’s entire IT environment. Together, we have taken our IT systems to a whole new level. This is something we can be extremely proud of."“

From the very beginning, "OneIT" was embedded deeply throughout our company – from management to team leaders and department heads in all business units all the way to the employees in all business units. Project progress was continuously presented, documented, assessed and adjusted via various channels. The project included rebuilding the entire network infrastructure, enhancing IT security, optimising IT services and establishing knowledge sources on the intranet. This has enabled us to create a modern digital foundation that has led to significantly improved process efficiency and substantial cost savings.
