Meet the Team: Markus Müller-Drexel, Managing Director

What do you like most about your job as Managing Director?

The pleasure of managing an innovative company that has such a great team of highly motivated employees.

Why do you like working at Interseroh?

Because our future depends on recycling and new ideas for the closed-loop economy. This is what powers our business and is a source of inspiration for my day-to-day work. Our strengths here are our team and our network of selected competence partners: together, we help to shape a future worth living.

What would be your advice for those thinking about applying?

Get involved: anyone who is open to new ideas, strongly motivated and well-qualified can and will have a successful career at Interseroh.

We pride ourselves on offering personal support and advice to every employee, which is why we have set up a long-term HR development programme. Not least because we know that our success depends on the motivation and know-how of our employees. Apart from a well-structured onboarding process and a mentor programme for new employees, we also offer regular, goal-oriented appraisal meetings for every employee.

What do you value most about your job as HR Manager?

Lots of things, but especially the variety and my responsibilities. I experience at first hand what’s on my co-workers’ minds, and I work with them to develop solutions that ensure our success as a company and our long-term development. I work on strategic and day-to-day activities to promote harmony within our team. Our flat management structure also rewards those with the courage to speak out and stand up for their ideas.

Why do you like working at Interseroh?

We foster open and respectful conduct towards one another, where diversity is valued and not swept under the carpet. Having respect for one another is important for overall job satisfaction, which is also helped by the fact that Interseroh is a very family-friendly organisation.
