How do scrap shears work?
The scrap shears are filled by with scrap by cranes or hydraulic shovels. The scrap is compacted in the filling box and pushed forward to the shears. The scrap is then cut according to pre-set lengths. The shredded material is transported via belt conveyors for sorted warehousing. Our shears can be used to process numerous kinds of scrap – but are particularly suited for shredding mixed and heavy scrap.
