Old vehicles as a source of raw materials

More than three million cars are in put out of service every year in Germany. They are a valuable source of raw materials on account of their high share of Fe and NFM.

Every final owner of a vehicle in Germany is obliged to hand this over to a recognised collection point, take-back station or dismantling company according to the Altfahrzeug-Verordnung (End-of-life Vehicle Ordinance). As a recognised old vehicle collection point, Interseroh guarantees final owners an uncomplicated procedure for their correct disposal. You will be issued with the certificate of destruction you need to present to the vehicle registration authorities as soon as you hand over your old vehicle.
